Is there something wrong with this tutorial?
I bought the next gen texturing tutorial Found here, a little while ago and decided to watch it to get my texturing workflow down. I noticed that this piece has 7 different texture maps. This seems like too many for the size of this piece. I am not here to bash the artist, but I need to do things right, or its all… -

Ok that makes sense... and the more I think about it, the ground would never be modeled like that, and the sign could be reused. I think I just need to study up some more on workflows. -

Both ways can fly. If he's reusing them, it's good, if not, bad. Remember, the DVD is about Techniques, and not Workflow with loads of pointers, and it's more of presentation thingy.
