wow, first a giant earthquake which they survived pretty well thanks to their amazing engineering and building codes, but then a tsunami no one could prepare for, then after shocks and now a nuclear disaster... Well, it could of been a lot worse if it wasn't in Japan. Look at Hatti, its widely thought that if they had even a 5th of Japans building codes and construction methods more people would be alive today. I'm sure Japan will be back up on its feet and teaching us all amazing things about how to minimize earthquake damage.… -

People train their whole lives for events like this. From kindergarten kids are put through mock evacuations. Offices are required to carry enough emergency kits for each employee, and train them once a year on evacuation procedures. It's unfortunate, but the true scale of the incident and the ignorance of the Japanese government will come to light in the coming months. Their response will simply be "We did not know it was that bad," as they continue to shrug off all responsibility.… -

I've been following this for a while. I hope that you guys are somewhere safe. I just hope that the trolling around is something temporary, and that people come through and help however they can when people have been struck by nature in this way. You guys have our support and our best wishes. We will try to help in any way…
