I'm currently trying to animate in Maya after building a simple model. The model itself is 776 tris, I will lower this. Right. I have a waist and a set of legs. I have placed connecting joints on each leg, at the hip, knee and ankle positions and I have no clue on where to go from there. Halp D: Thanks
Search for "Building Skeletons" in the Maya help. There is a diagram of what a character skeleton should look like. It sounds like you have a lot to learn at the moment.
