You don't think it's a little redundant to have to open your UI, assign something to your favorites, then open your favorites just so you can assign a hotkey to it?
Yeah, you can make non-replacer items at this point, but you can't do anything but assign them through console or forge them. It's impossible to buy or get them to drop I think. The CK can't come fast enough.
I just got skyrim so I may be really far behind, so far I'm a lvl 12 pick pocketing, conjuration and destruction mage, trying to do all the crafting and alchemy and enchanting, playing on the hardest difficulty. I did the golden claw quest before it was assigned to me, so it was kind humorous when he congratulated me for…
Ah, damn I can't wait till tomorrow evening.. :D I also read (its been mentioned before i think) that when you meet the dark brotherhood and/or the thieves guild, you basically get a quest line and after that you get random jobs assigned to you (like kill the bartender at town X, in that and that way, or steal that from…
My problem has nothing to do with which hands are assigned to which keys, the problem is when trying to hotkey any dual wielded setup. The problem is that when you hotkey something, you need to be able to assign it to a hand. Currently when you hotkey a spell, weapon, shield, etc - the game by default sticks it in a…
Aaaah - so you have to assign the souls manually? I'm going to try that once I get home from work. Thanks for the help! :) In other news - I got ambushed by two icewraiths yesterday. They took down Lydia pretty quick and I was only able to kill one of them before I had to start running trying to heal myself. Left with…
Unless I'm misinterpreting what he said, all he's talking about is the part in the MQ where you bring the two sides to a "stand still" for the duration of the dragon criss (presumably the MQ). There's a quest where, if you have yet to win the war for either side, you bring the two leaders together and assign reassign some…
This game is huge. Picked it up at midnight last night, my wife and I played it for about 7 hours in total. This game feels drastically different than Oblivion to me. If you were expecting to step out into the world and explore like crazy kicking ass - think again. I tried walking from where you pop out to uh...some city…
Try using Grand Soul Gems you nut. The effect of the enchant scales with the size of the Soul Gem. While a Common Soul Gem will only add say 3 health a Grand Soul Gem adds 20. It was the same way in Oblivion. Also if you were so invested in enchanting you surely put perks into the Enchanting tree? I don't even have any…
I've played for about four hours now I think. The world is absolutely beautiful, the characters are nice and just running around discovering things is really fun. The dungeons I've seen so far are a lot better than in Oblivion. Talking to NPCs is actually useful as they might tell you how to get to the next city: "Cross…
