Sign up to Digital-Tutors for a month (or however long you need to learn pick it up) and use their videos. They have "Introduction to" videos, as well as quick looks at new features in 4 and a bunch of specific features of zBrush.
A lot of good stuff has been mentioned, but I would also recommend Eat3d introduction to zbrush! I found it not only funny to watch but also very very educative.
