So I am thinking about doing a small project with you guys where we create and package 100 recognizable characters in a single package for the Minecraft community. Fletcher, something I learned with minecraft skins, is there's just not enough room to try to do AA like you would with other pixel-art. Things just end up blurry and hard to read. (red belt area, light grey too) edit: Cross-posting my Shaun from the main thread, since I want to include it in the pack. -

I can bet you it most likely won't happen, there is a ton of content made for minecraft with even higher quality than the game itself with authors that would have no problem getting put in the game, but it just wouldn't be worth the time it would cost Notch to organize it. time is pretty much the only thing he doesn't have… -

It's 100% fine that most things will have been made before. Its quality that we're after with this. I'd like to think we're more exposed to this sort of creation than the typical minecraftskins.com creator ;) -

well the beauty of it is that these skins barely take any time to do, so anyone could find an hour somewhere and make one. -
