- In the UV editor, select all UV:s - Convert selection to UV-borders. - In the 3d viewport, convert the selection to contained edges. If you by any chance would like to go the other way around, selecting all hard edges, to split the UV:s, you can do that using conditions in select > select using constraints
Hello. I believe that in the UV editor you can select the edges where you have the splits and it should select them in the perspective view then you can set them to hard edges. You should be able to select the uvs as well and convert them to the contained edge selection.
this doesnt work for me. i select all of the UV points, then go to select shell borders and finally convert selection to containing edges. but it does what it says: selects all edges that are contained by these points. including edges that go through the whole shell like here: Uploaded with ImageShack.us any idea how to…
So I've laid out my uvs and split edges where I plan to have hard edges. I should have just hardened them while in the process of uv-ing. My model is currently all soft edges, is there a quick way to use the split edges from the UVs to define the hard edges on the model? I really cringe at the thought of manually selecting…
