@Rima Generally yes, Blender is a very competent modeling package these days, I use it as well as several other artists I work with. I've switched off 3DS max completely, but still use Maya for work. The only real complaint myself and a lot of other people seem to have is the UV editor needing some love so it's less obtuse…
Amazing stuff! @"Michael Knubben" I tried my luck with just Quick Favorites and added a continuous animation for the UV. Selecting one Modifier and copying it over to other meshes works. Would love to see a PME version.
Works fine for me, but I don't use sharp edges when working with subd anyway. If you need the full control at this stage, threshold will not work of course.
@Peris & Jakro : Nice work!!! I am also working on my "super-alligner" with pie menu editor. @ shogunato: It also works similiar to that what you have shown from max.
Regarding Dalai working on cycles baking, I dont know if thats still a priority but according to the development fund... his work is targeting stereoscopic rendering. March 2014 April 2014 * Grant for Dalai Felinto: finishing work on MultiView (stereo render) Curious to see what hes working on after this...
