yeh but how to judge what's my best work ? I could think that this city I did in old engine long ago looks good but may be doesn't ? Also what's wrong wih flash I have seen some use on their sites?
The engine do the caustics all alone , tough I advice that it can create weird seams of the models in water are overlapping or seamed uvmapping , so for good caustics in water it needs to be a very smooth and almoust one single uvmapping block to avoid bad caustics seams , couse those get mapped on the uvs of the model....
I am loving Cryengine but , It is quite limited according to stars and sky system modding , I have worked with the gamebyro engine of Oblivion and there they have a lot of moddability that allows even have cycles and moon phases as well as be able to replace the whiole star systems without having to renounce to dinamicity…
