Hey, probably the last tech question in my long line of new pc/windows 7 threads. Just a quick question. I have the Maya 32 bit to install but I run 64 bit windows 7. I just got 32 Bit and I can't and don't want to crack a 64 bit version and be a douche so my question is : Can I run 32 bit Maya 2009? Will it run good? Will…
I have a Maya 2009 license, I was running on vista 32 and it installed the 32 bit and then I got a new configuration with window 7 64 bits and it automatically installed the 64 bit version... And then Maya is workign perfectly on window 7. there is only one thing still not working in the 2009 and 2010 version : Mipmapping…
Eeewww...what? I just ran maya 32 bit and I'm getting horrible slowness on even the selection marquee tool....it feels really slow and ugly.. It's supposed to run good? .....rriiiight. :(
I have maya 09 32 bit running on 64bit windows 7 at work and I don't have any problems. Like MoP said it comes with both versions, just haven't really got around to switching though.
It sounds like you should go update the drivers for you video card, while you're at it, update the drivers for every piece of hardware you have. See if that fixes it. Are you running any other programs at the same time as Maya? Maya 32-bit absolutely works on windows 7, it's not the fault of either piece of software.
