Is the normalmap compression in the july udk build broken? If U choose normalmap or normalmap alpha compression the file get'S compressed as a DXT1 diffuse and not a normalmap. normalmap uncompressed works but scales down the texture independently from the group settings.

I have no player start, i just right click and choose 'play from here'. In fact, UDK won't even let me add a player start, i click add player start and nothing happens at all, which is odd, because i've added one on this map in the past...
Thanks FramuSS, you made my life a lot easier. Now I'm trying to understand why I can't turn off collision on a landscape. When I choose collision type COLLIDE_NoCollision it still works while the same type on Terrain allows me to go through it. Maybe there are some other settings I know nothing about.
When I right click a mesh in the content browser and choose open in static mesh editor nothing happens. If I double click the mesh the thumbnail flashes white, but nothing happens. I can't seem to access the static mesh editor in any capacity. This apply's to meshes that ship with UDK also. Any body know whats going on?
