Well, I'm not new to max or modeling, simply new to organic modeling. I've also used max for about 5 years, but it was strictly for animation purposes. The videos at eat3d look good, but unfortunately none of the tutorials for max are on organics. I'm taking a look at the gnomon site now. Thanks for the links!

That James Hawking video is good, but it's mostly just watching him FFD tessellated cubes into an awesome monster.
