   How about showcasing the winner of the Low Poly Challenge once we get the results? Seems like a nice way to promote the Challenges and some of the work is stellar.

   We are all part of polycount, so a voting system I think would forgo a lot of artists that are here everyday. We could just have people make there own, to help showcase there work and appreciate everyone in our community. Spark

   whats about an by-admin-preselected collection of artwork (of the last week month or time X) that _could_ go on banner and ppl can choose which one (or two or three..) for the upcoming time period stars for threads are no good for polycount

   This is something we always try to keep in mind, and one of the biggest reason why we are apposed to the whole rating/thumbnail type systems. It discourages people from checking the thread on a mere quick glance. Which is more harmful to the overall user experience on PC IMO.

   What I like about polycount is nice clutter-free relaxed environment and great community. If you post something and ask honest critique, you'll get one. Whereas on many forums with star rating systems, fancy galleries & thumbnails you have couple of 90-star threads with hundreds of "u r0x0rz" style comments made by…
