In that case look in the edit mesh or edit poly rollouts for the "x" "y" "z" buttons- because they will align the selection components (e.g verts, edges or faces) along that axis. Is there any shortcut or script for copying individual x, y, and z co-ordinates on the push of a hotkey? It's tedious to go to the bottom of the window and copy it manually. A hotkey to copy and paste the locations would be perfect.
