I'm having trouble getting alphas to work, im using a 32 bit PSD with an alpha channel, but that wont work as a diffuse or an alpha, it shows up as black. Photoshop wont save TGAs in 32 bit for some reason
It may be some issue with Vista 64, i know its been used on XP 32/64, and vista 32, but not sure about vista 64. That video card should be great for it, so really unless its a video driver issue i cant tell you why it wouldn't be working.
I'm getting some bad edges when using alpha (32-bit .tga): I used a simple gradient (0-255) on two planes to test, does the viewer only do 1-bit alpha?
It has to be 32 bit, and yes save your mask into the alpha channel of the diffuse. Hard to say anything more than that, without actually knowing what problem you are having. Post some images or explain the issue please.
This is getting annoying. Marmoset keeps displating artifacts on my textures. Im saving the diffuse at 4096x4096 at 32 bits/pixel Sometimes instead of doing that ^^ the texture will have green blobs all over it, and sometimes the texture loads fine ???
