Anyone able to dig up tutorials on how to animate stuff and exporting to MD2/3 format for me? Only know how to do bone-based stuff. Using max 7/9/2008 btw. Thanks in advance. <3
Yes, you could even do your wacky titty IK if you wanted. Anything that moves vertices will show up in your animated MD2/MD3 since it's only a vertex morph format. I personally recommend MD3 though, as that is not limited to integer precision like MD2 (makes a huge visual difference)
just animate like you're used to (merge all the animations to one file) and export as md2 i used this script to export, dunno if it works in max 2008 http://www.blitzforum.de/upload/file.php?id=1627
