1. powered speakers recommendations ?

   Hi all! I'm on a hunt for powered speakers. I used a friend's pair a couple years ago and was quite impressed by the quality and power these things can deliver!    My advice would be to make sure you listen to them in person before buying. Bring an MP3 player with some favorites to plug in, get a sense for how they reproduce your favs. Makes sense, speakers can be very subjective.

   And play it in a small testing lab...showrooms can be quite misinterpreting.
