A friend of mine is re-designing an old project in the style of 'Barbarella' and pulp sci-fi covers from the 1950's (all scantily clad girls in skin-tight spacesuits with fishbowl-helmets). Anyone seen any good sites for ref pics??

Suggest to your friend that he do Image searches using the names of popular science fiction magazines from the era ... like Astounding Science Fiction, or Amazing Science Fiction, etc. Also look up the work of leading artists from the period ... Kelly Freas is a good starting point.

Many thanks to everyone. Hopefully someday the friend in question will sign up here at polycount, and post what he does with these refs. In the meantime - thanks again!!
