MGS4 looks good, but it shows the power of the ps3 very well, or the lack there of in the area of textures and polygons. They said at e3 that his hair was over 60k polys yet now you can see its more like 250 if even that. All the world textures are small as hell. I have yet to see something on the ps3 running in real time…
The only thing that looks worse are the environments. There are a couple of areas that look like they have low-res textures. Maybe the high resolution display is just pointing those out to me now I still think it looks fuckin amazing and it makes me want to buy a PS3
