   saw this the other night. pretty cool. kinda scary too. dont think i'll ever eat mentos and drink diet coke together. a replacement for the old soda + Pop Rocks myth

   not entirely sure what mentos are, but when i was a kid i once dropped a Hundred and Thousand (one of those tiny little sugar balls they decorate cakes with, smaller than the smallest sweet ever)into a bottle of coke, just to see what happened.    Mintoes and Mentos are two different candies. Mentos have a an outer shell which seems to be a very good surface for CO2 bubbles to form, on that note it would be very uncomfortable to try and swallow an unchewed Mentos to see what would happen in your stomach.
