the tutorials that came with maya should be read first. maya's interface is complex and you need to learn it before you can do anything else. -

The tutorials are integrated in the software. They should resemble 'internet reading' for you. As r13 said, in order for anyone to logically help you, you'll need a firm grasp of the basics. Good luck. -

I just bought maya 6 about 1 month ago and im wanting to learn how to do some good modeling.. could you guys find me or give me any good tutorials for maya 6.. i wanna work small and get the basics first but then get up big.. i wanna animate and model, so that might need some hardk work but…
