Jehuty - FatAssasin's got it right, I had the light tracer turned on in the advanced lighting tab of the render options. Unfortunately that didn't show up in my tutorial, I should have mentioned it. Also - the render does take a few minutes, I edited out the wait in my video :-) Glad you learned something from it. Conor -

I'm not Conor and I have't watched the tutorial, but maybe I can help. For skylights to work properly a few things need to happen. You need to add the skylight, which you did, and actual placement doesn't matter, just make sure your model is close to 0,0,0, the center of the grid. Next, hit "9", the shortcut for Advanced… -

Polycount Messageboards also have a nice private message feature. If you find his name in the User List and click it, it will give you the option of sending him a message directly. -
