@piorAlso didn't have a drawing tablet at the time, actually still don't but currently looking at XPen's Artist 12 for what I want to do plus within budget of what is affordable. Would you mind telling a bit more about the way you tackle these ? I suppose that the finer textured details are raster, but still, these shots and and your car and tank vector renderings recreations are really quite impressive in their accuracy, as they don't have the usual signs of vector work. -

Really interesting. Besides the fun technical limitation of these being vector- and mouse-made, I feel like such studies might also help with memorizing material rendering/surface behavior to reuse later when rendering concept sketches made from imagination. Cool stuff ... -
