Oh yeah, for sure. Baking is difficult and there are loads of things you should keep in mind. Finally got Retop to a place im happy with to move onto UVing. The Ribbed tubing in the centre caused the biggest issue for me, took a few tries to get right. Now onto UVing!
UPDATE: Hi Im still working on this model, had some changes happen (and lost some saves putting me back, oops...) so couldn't focus on modelling as much as I wished to. Now things have settled I want to get back on track! About two-thirds through retopology at this point :smile: I also need to look into ways that can help…
20/07/24 - With feedback, changed the handle grip to a simpler design with no gaps. May need a go over to add more texture or could leave until Substance Painter. Also increased Axe head size to better suit a one handed weapon.
