Ok i checked all reference coordinates, none of them keep the Y axis always for upward, looks like the Z axis in 3DS Max is for up and down. Thanks. One last question, I'm using the bones that came with the model to try to animate the model but it's difficult. The limbs don't move in one axis and they move fast, any tips…
CAT Rigs have by default the walk animation when you go to Animation Mode Toggle, how can i change it? I tried loading a BIP file in the Clip Manager but that creates a new CAT Rig instead of adding the animation to my existing CAT Rig.
Ah, those clips were made with the rig using the bone length axis set to Z. Create a new rig and set the axis to z and it should load. If you need to, you could then capture the animation on a different rig.
Thanks that works now. An issue i noticed with a model's axis. Notice how the y and z axis switch if i click on left top window or other windows. Shouldn't the Y axis always be for elevating or descending?
Are you talking about a CATMotion layer? There is a button below the layer manager that looks like a green circle with a cat paw in the middle of it. Click that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CavWZIierns
