Hello again Polycount, I'm currently working on a new character model and have created this patch for the characters jacket however I have a some bake errors but don't understand where I am going wrong or how to fix this issue, this is more than likely an extremely beginner problem but I'd appreciate any help, thank you
If you can, I reccomend switching over to Toolbag for map baking. It's a lot more friendly and visually communicating workflow for bakes and bake error fixing
Yah, something very strange is happening to your normal map, at least based on the thumb nail I can see. It's hard to guess at what is going wrong from just looking at this one window though. Could you post screen shots of your low poly (Wire frame, UV's, etc.) high poly, and bake settings?
