What to do with adult animations?
So I'm fairly new to animation. I just finished studying 3D Animation and I'm really having fun doing animations especially highly erotic stuff that are not safe for work. Yeah don't. Don't want to see a demo reel with some kid chasing a butterfly, and then someone getting smashed right after lol. Just keep that stuff private. I know that things like poledancing are not that strange in a demo reel but I'm talking more about these things: It may sound obvious but this rule of success advice actually helps me a lot… -

That definition of pornography is really narrow, in particular the fact that it only includes "real people". That leaves plenty of room for games, animations, and illustrations that meet most definitions of "pornographic". -

Considering the content of games like Witcher 3.etc, would an animation recruiter have a problem receiving a reel with one animation pertaining to adult content among others? Also how do they deal with this matter in studio? Would you pull up references that are not safe at work at work? -

I used Tumblr until december when they started to forbid adult content. Now I'm using Twitter. At the same time I upload my animation to different adult sites, that I'm probably not allowed to mention here. If you are interested in seeing my animations, I can send you a link to my Twitter. -

Speaking as someone who works at a studio that does a lot of adult-oriented stuff (Volition), the threshold for what constitutes "not safe for work" is in a wildly different place than at most places of business, but it definitely still exists. If someone submitted an animation reel including pole dancing no one would bat… -

Patreon is not for pornography, though.
