I would like critique on my modeling, polygon reduction, and UV for this hammer I made. I didn't spend much time on texturing so I don't really need critique on that. I modeled on Cinema 4D, UV on Maya, and textured in substance painter. Thanks :) model Hammer 2.0 model
Thanks, Brian. it's probably because its a simple object with easy to find references though. I tried making the weathering less homogeneous and added some paint and stuff. I'm pretty happy with it but I'm not sure where to go from here if it needs more work. here's the new model model
are you talking about how it's not seamless enough where the wood and metal meet? also you can click the model inspector on the bottom right to see the wireframe and UV
