"Discourage add-on developers to port their work now since the Python API will still change." Reads from the "Beyond the Code Quest blog post at code.blender.org So, you'll have to wait till September 19 when the final python API of Blender 2.80 is finished and add-on developers can finally port their add-ons to Blender…
It's a known issue, a re-install seems to work if you get it from the mast branch on github: https://github.com/franMarz/TexTools-Blender/issues/177 However it seems some things don't work quite correctly, like the straighten function. It has also been reported on the issues tab. This is the first time I've had a Blender…
Thanks @renderhjs for the great tool, I used your 3dsmax version back in the day and really missed this in Blender. Some small thing I'm missing are mirror tools, any chance you will add those in future?
@renderhjs Fantastic new additions, as usual! Would you consider enabling the Checker Map function to function in the 3D Viewport as well, so I can call it from a pie menu? If I add it (using Pie Menu Editor, which is incredible), it's grayed out. Any idea how to work around this?
@renderhjs Thank you so much for creating these tools. I've been slowly learning Blender in my spare time to see what it can do. These type of tools makes the transition easier :) Do you have any suggestions for add ons that relate to modeling? i'll be checking out Hard Ops eventually!

@renderhjs Can't make it work... I open Blender, add Suzanne, use Smart UV Project on her and try to bake. Both Cavity and Dust just fill islands in black. I also try to make the mesh more dense but it changes nothing. Hard to say what I'm doing wrong if there is only so few steps to recreate it :P I really like the idea…
