Hey @torba! I wrapped up and polished the color range feature to a point where I feel comfortable to share it. If you (or anybody else) want to give it a try, you can get the preview version here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ycfYaWCK3G5zszChtErktC5gyj83E9WU/view?usp=drive_link I'd love to hear if everything works as…
Thank you very much for your reply!! I am so excited!! I tried this, but you create folders by selecting multiple subtools after you have already colored them. I have tried your plugin, it seems that it does not support color giving when multiple subtools are Selected, because after I have selected several subtools,…
Back with progress on the swatches! Unfortunately the interface took a lot of time to get into shape, so I haven't had the chance to look into anything beyond that. As of now there are: * multiple swatch sets (which can also be expanded by custom ones) * a new Range-Mode, which only randomizes within a definable range…
Hi Florian, Thank you for your work. This is perfect! The range length and offset sliders work great and speeds up my workflow significantly! The way you made the algorithm roll through the available colors also works exactly as I'd imagine it. The only quirk I found was that moving the SwatchSet slider collapses the…
Awesome idea Chris, I Implemented it right away :)! In the next update QHide will hide Polygroups of the currently selected Subtool, while still hiding Subtools if the mesh below the cursor is not part of the selected Subtool.
Hey @Koromo thanks for the interest! To use the “isolate prefix function”, you simply need matching prefixes across your subtools names. What the plugin does; it looks at the name of the currently selected subtool and checks its prefix (it considers everything before the first _ as the prefix). Then the script cycles…
Awesome! I'm super happy to hear that :)! Also thanks a lot for the suggestion, I think the feature really adds a cool facette to the tool set. The reloading of the plugin (so collapsing and appearing at the bottom of the plugin list), unfortunately is needed to switch to the new swatch icons. I agree though that it's a…
Sneak Peak of an upcoming new feature that allows you to select multiple Subtools at once! This will allow you to set up Boolean Groups in no time and will work with most of the existing features :).
You are absolutely correct! Renaming/Coloring does unfortunately not work with the multi select feature, as you already noticed. What you can use the ZBrush feature for though is to quickly create folders, which you then can use for the different FJTools features. This way you can "save" a selection in a folder and I would…
I am very happy to announce today’s release of FJTools Version 1.0! New feature: * Boolean Groups are now also available in the Naming section * Color you have now various options to apply polypaint to your subtools. This will make assigning ID Colors for baking a piece of cake. Fixes: * Expert Mode was further worked on…
