Yeah it's been a week since I've posted, but after much blood and sweat I was able to churn out these puppies. They look a lot more sandy than my reference picture, but I still had tons of fun with it. Gonna move onto another rock type now.
@stilobique Thanks! I'll make the edges more noticeable from here on. Here's my third. Next time I try doing a standing rock, I'll make it out of multiple meshes merged together, because you can pretty obviously tell this was made of the same mesh. I also think I went a bit haywire with the alphas.
