Yeah, i don't see why anyone would do that. Krita is faster and it has seamless painting functionality out of the box, it works perfectly if you don't need recorded actions. Oh, and it's free.

I'm trying out krita right now, it feels pretty damn smooth and the seamless painting is just what i was looking for. I think the seamless stuff IS possible in some 3d modes in photoshop, but you need extended for that.
