Not sure if my process is right for painting in NDO mode. I created a plane in max exported in tris as a obj. Created NDO file with the mesh. Added a new sculpt layer and opened up the 3DO and within the window of 3do I do not see paint on there.
Hey Snake! You need to create a Multi-Normal before you can paint in 3D. You also need to check the nDo Painter option, as well, within the Multi-Normal. There is a step I am missing. It looks like they are painting on a mask or something, not sure because when i paint on the plane , the pixels dont bevel in or out.
Just tried this all out and got it to work, thanks again. I really wished that when you created a multinormal layer or even just a new sculpt that it would produce just one layer to paint on, there are so many layers that get generated that I am not even sure which layer is the correct one to paint on.
