Oh well only thing i can say about scripts, for modeling or other workflow improvements you dont need them, almost everyone knows Tor Frick and he use mainly macros, custom hotkeys and Pie Menus, so you can do much without python.
Is there a time limit on the upgrade price? I can't justify paying for it a second time with its current feature set. With the features that are removed, there's almost literally no reason to use it over Blender. Access to the kits would go a very long way toward helping it, but I would really like to see Python scripting.
