Yes, but as I mentioned, game engines convert everything into triangles, not quads. So 100,000 polygons are assumed to be 100,000 Triangles you see in a game.

In relation to games I just always assume poly counts are talking about triangles. Sure it won't always be the case but's the safer assumption.
