Hi I made a sword with 3ds max for Dota2, and I really need to export it into OBJ, and then use the dota shader. But it's a mess when I export it and put it in Marmoset... I then tried to export into 3Ds Max file, it worked...but I can't hand in my stuff with 3d max file, I have to hand it in as OBJ .. Does anyone know…
Posting some images would help. Could be flipped normal (green/Y channel flip) could be smoothing groups, could be broken welds, could be flipped faces etc. Could be several things. Posting some images would help us diagnose what's going. :thumbup:
