   Could be doing something wrong, but enabling "none" in my constraint mode for both the tool and the preferences doesn't seem to stop the topo tab's persistent auto enabling.

   turn off constraint to background in your snapping mode (F11)

   When retopologizing, modo seems to automatically engage in "snap mode" whenever I select the pen, topology pen or topology sketch tools. Is there a setting in my preferences to disable this feature by default?
