I'm working on rigging a mechanical quadruped using CAT bones. The rear "knee" joints face backwards in relation to the CAT parent. hmmm and standard max 'angle snap toggle' doesn't work at this stage? I made a test and it works just fine: 1. create a cat base 2.create a pelvis 3.add leg 4. now you can even copy\paste leg you have set up and use max standard tools to keep angles.
