Yo guys, I just started playing around in zbrush and I'm having a tough time coming to grips with the camera navigation since there doesn't seem to be any easy way to just snap the camera to the default Front/Side/back views etc. I end up with my sculpt turned totally upside down with no way easy way to set the camera back…
The 'Axis Tool Position' script allows you to set hotkeys for views. I have it set up as F for front view/T for top view just like 3dsNax. Check out this vid from my YT channel. Starting at 10min I show the script. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKyoBMklNY4
If you hold shift while you are panning your camera, it should snap to the nearest axis plane. You can assign a hotkey to something by holding Ctrl + Alt and left-clicking on any button.
