Not to argue or say Stephen Silver is wrong (cuz I respect him as an artist) but just to discuss the advice of that graphic. Yeah I think it is very elegantly put. I've had it open for 2 days on my screen now and it helped my avoid unnecessary doodling sessions doing always the same thing over and over again :) -

That's actually a good little image. I grew up doing the "No" :S.... focused entirely on technique and how to render something, but didn't focus enough on basics. -

i think it was the "why i dont get replies" thread, i just had my gallery folder open when i saw the post and the image was in front of me. i don't remember who the poster was, but he is credit to team. thanks phantom poster!!! -
