To be honest I didn't really see anything *that* special in that trailer. Lots of that tech is kicking around in other engines, in other companies. There isn't really anything new there from what I've seen.

Snowdrop engine looks fantastic, as well as the Division. Very excited to look at all the purdys of that game. Agreed the day/night cycle was weird with have crazy bright that "night" was. Maybe they don't have actual nights in Sweden :P
It may be a tech demo, but its more of an extended peak at some of the environments that the debut trailer didn't show. That's why everyone is excited.
