Just wondering if there is a way to render out an image with depth of field enabled and transparency enabled that gives a soft transition in the dof blur on a transparent background?
I remember in the beta thread people were talking about getting in Polypaint from zbrush highpolies. Was this ever implemented? Also, any plans on making Toolbag2 GoZ enabled?
I used to enable backface culling in TB1 for the inner holes of my gun: I can get away without using it :D cheers for the transparency tip, will try it out! It is cool, Kosai told me how to fix this:
Yeah that should be doable, make sure you've enabled transparency in the image export options. Also, use psd. If the skybox background is bleeding through, try using a simple color instead, and try to match it roughly to the background color you intend to comp in.
I just checked that Keelhauler and Ambient Occlusion is what was causing those lines for me too. Brygelsmack, tried DOF (in camera settings)? Actually it looks like you have it enabled in your pic but it's focus point is wrong. Play with near/far blur amount and focus distance.
@my question if the version is heavily cut, It seems like I was just too stupid to find the settings by clicking the sky and camera objects and the presets. Your dropdown menus at the right are not obvious at all for those that are not active by default. Clicking a tiny line that enables the function is something id really…
Hey, a couple suggestions: 1. Make sure your internet connection is working properly and that your firewall isn't blocking TB2. 2. Check your global prefs (edit->preferences) to make sure check for updates in enabled. You can also download the full installer and install over the top here: http://www.marmoset.co/shop/tb2 I…
By default we read the tangent/binormals from the FBX. Since you are overriding them in the settings of xNormal, I would suggest doing the same in Substance Designer. This can be done by going in the Preferences and enabling "Always recompute Tangent Frames" in the project settings (this will require a restart of…

I was wondering about the Scale & Bias checkbox that is in the normal maps in Marmoset default shader All i know about it is that when using 8 bit normal maps it should be enabled but if you are using 16 bit normals it should be disabled. But i don´t get what this Scale and Bias really does in the image. Could…
