Hey guys, I'm trying to get a good interior lighting setup in UDK using lightmass, but I haven't been able to create a setup where the interior looks well-lit. I would like some help from the more proficient UDk users out there. I don't know if I should be using more lights than the dominant directional light, but I…
Increase the 'Indirect Lighting Scale' of your dominant directional light. Also enable lightmass ambient occlusion to make the indirectly lit areas look less flat.
Do you have light importance volume covering your interior? It helps with bouncing light, another thing - you have advanced environment enable, but your sun color is black, I guess you could leave it disabled, or change sky/sun env colors..
Thanks, I increased the indirect lighting scale to 5 and 9999 with respective bakes, they don't look any different at all. Any idea as to why that is happening?
