Ironically, I'm posting a problem on polycounts on Polycount. I'm making a low-poly game mesh in Maya, however I've noticed some issues wiht my polycount. When I click my mesh, it says my model is about 5700 faces. However, when I zoom out and look at my total visible polycount, it tells me I have over 12000. I can't seem…
I know that. My problem is that, selected, my mesh has 5700. Zooming out makes the visible polycount column rise for some inexplicable reason when there's nothing there and nothing hidden.
