Web Design Rule #1: Never use tables for layout. Tables are for tabular data. Try viewing a table layout on a smartphone, you'll see why it's bad for layout and file size matters on mobile networks. While I also like CGHub, one thing to note is that someone unfamiliar with the site may get tricked by thinking that your favorite images are actually part of your portfolio.
