Does anyone know where I can find some examples of good uv mapping for a drivable vehicle like a dune buggy or hummer? I am trying to fit everything on one 1024 texture map but I am having trouble making space for everything on one sheet and maintaining a consistent resolution for all the parts.
okay here is what i have. its a huge mess right now, so I'll try and explain whats going on. I deleted all the parts that are reused throughout the vehicle, that is why a good portion of the low poly is missing. I did this because that way i only need to bake one low poly part and just duplicate it in the other places it…
