So sorry to hear the news that The Mill, MPC (Moving Picture Company) and Mikros Animation, Technicolor are closing after 110 years. They worked on tiles like Detective Pikachu, Bumblebee, Harry Potter to name just a few. They say it might be more than 10,000 employees effected gloably. :(… -

After 7 years of experience as an animator in games, almost 4 as a technical animator I've spent the last 2 months struggling to get a new job due to my studio closing in London. Seriously wtf is with that, tried film studios but since my reel is very game specific (low poly - rigs - tools ) I'm shit out of luck. Never… -

I think you can actually get a student license without a .edu mail as well. The way I had to do it is I asked my 3d animation profesor to contact Autodesk as a permission thing and they set up my college so you could use your student ID or something.
