F1 and Main Menu > Help > tutorials, they rock. I know in other applications the help menu typically isn't very helpful but in max its great. I think that for starting out, digital tutors will give you the most complete understanding of all the tools you have in Max, period. It may be slow, but you will no every single small thing. Or close to it. As well as develop good habits. -

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll have a look over the various sites you've mentioned. I did however have a look at the Digital Tutors site AlexCat suggested. Actually seems pretty good with alot of content on there. Noticed that their introductory series is free which is a bonus as the sub to the rest of the content…
