Hi guys, im wondering what the best workflow with zbrush is for character design, do you still make base meshes and then work on that, zspheres or dynameshing? Which do you think is the most useful and are there disadvantages to dynameshing? Thanks.
For me it depends on what I'm making. having tried all 3 a base + dyna works in my favor for characters. Dynamesh alone is a god tool for environment stuff
Depends on your preference really, and also the situation as well. If you have a clear concept and plain laid out than a making a base mesh first might be the best way to go about it. However if you only have a general idea of what you want and just kind of winging it than dynamesh might be the best way.
