Two seemingly identical setups, two different Mentalray renders?
Hello I have been using 3ds Max 2012 student edition 64 bit at University and at home. These are two renders with exactly the same setup but one has much better results. I think your gamma settings differ from those at university. Under Customize->Preferences->Gamma and LUT you can change that. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97192 Did you use an HDRI in one, which could not be found on the other one?
